1000S Front Aircrew J-Don Immersion Suit

The 1000S Front Aircrew J-Don Immersion Suit is a certified helicopter aircrew immersion suit developed for over-water operations where safety, mobility and thermal performance are critical. Constructed using a Gore-Tex Nomex III three-layer fabric, the suit is waterproof, breathable and flame retardant, providing protection both in flight and in emergency situations. A lightweight, removable thermal lining enhances insulation in cold conditions while maintaining comfort during extended wear.

The suit is ergonomically designed to support natural movement and is tested across multiple helicopter types to ensure a proper fit in operational environments. Integrated seals, ventilation valves and mission-specific pocket options allow the suit to be adapted to different crew roles and operational needs. Certified to ETSO 2C503, the 1000S immersion suit provides a minimum of four hours of thermal protection in cold water, supporting survival while awaiting rescue.
