The sMRT AU10-M is a commercial-grade Maritime Survivor Locating Device (MSLD) that combines AIS, VHF DSC and 121.5 MHz technology to provide fast, multi-channel alerting and accurate positioning during man-overboard incidents. It is engineered to ensure that nearby vessels are immediately alerted and able to assist in recovery efforts.
The device activates automatically when immersed in water or can be triggered manually, sending an alert within seconds and transmitting continuous position updates. Integrated dual GNSS (GPS and Galileo) ensures fast and accurate location tracking, allowing multiple casualties to be tracked simultaneously over long distances.
Designed for integration with lifejackets, such as the Halo Passenger, the AU10-M includes both audible and visual signalling features, including a high-intensity strobe and status LEDs, to improve detection in low-visibility conditions. Its rugged, waterproof construction ensures dependable performance in harsh marine environments, while Class-M compliance aligns it with the latest international MOB device standards.
