The sMRT AU11 is an advanced Maritime Survivor Locating Device (MSLD) that combines AIS, VHF DSC and 121.5 MHz technology to provide multi-channel distress alerting and real-time tracking during man-overboard incidents. It is engineered to ensure that both the parent vessel and nearby ships are instantly alerted and able to respond.
The device features automatic water activation, triggering within seconds of immersion, while also allowing manual activation when required. Once activated, it transmits continuous position updates via AIS, enabling multiple casualties to be tracked simultaneously and improving coordination during rescue operations.
Integrated dual GNSS (GPS and Galileo) ensures fast and accurate global positioning, while a high-intensity strobe, audible alarm and status LEDs enhance visibility and awareness in low-light or high-stress conditions. Built with a rugged, waterproof housing and compliant with the latest Class-M regulations, the AU11 is designed for professional use in offshore, maritime and aviation environments.
